Cherry Springs State park, located in Potter County, has been certified as a Gold Level International Dark Sky site. Due to its remoteness and lack of light pollution, on a clear night you can see the milky way with a clarity that is unparalleled on the east coast. The park is open year round, and in addition to the programs available at the park, there are plenty of other resources to help you get the best out of your visit to the Dark Skies. Here are a few! This page is a work in progress, so if you know of other programs you would like to see here, let us know!
